Assist Service manager with repair orders, customer service and Technician tracking
- Work with Yard crew to coordinate jobs.
- Coordinate with sales and service on new boat sales.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Service Department
- Providing administrative support for the Service Manager and service department, such as customer service, filing, answering phones, creating and completing work orders
- Identifying and meeting the customers service needs
- Develop cost estimates for service work
- Log service requests and schedule service appointments with the customer
- Log parts needed and schedule service work with technicians
- Initiate and Verify warranty claims
- Contact customers with any available updates, changes or issues that arise
- Review work orders for closing and invoice customers

Allen Harbor Marine Service, Inc., a full-service family owned boatyard and marina in Harwich Port, Massachusetts was founded in 1927 and is one of the premiere boatyards and marinas on Cape Cod.
We are looking to add to our yard staff.
Key Duties:
• Pressure washing, bottom painting, compounding, waxing, washing and shrink-wrapping of boats.
• Assist with hauling/launching boats with trailers and a forklift.
• This is an active/physical position with outside work in all weather conditions possible.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as a mechanic, a great attitude, and a strong work ethic. Danversport Marina’s Marine Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine vessels and related systems. This includes outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines, as well as onboard systems as equipped. The exact type of projects assigned to the candidate will be dependent on the candidate’s skills, experience, and interests.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Service outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines (gasoline and/or diesel)
· Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vessels and their onboard systems
· Work collaboratively with our crew of marine service technicians to meet deadlines and service standards
· Maintain a clean workspace
· Maintain factory certifications as well as pursuing new certifications
· Follow all safety, environmental, and marina procedures
· Occasionally travel to off-site jobs
Qualifications
· Minimum five years’ experience working gas, I/O, or diesel inboards

· Factory training and certifications (preferred but not required)

Position Summary
The Product Manager supports the commercial segment by partnering with sales teams, customers, and an international supplier network to drive product strategy, sales growth, and new product development. Compensation and Benefits Overview Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $53,500-110,500 annually, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Launch Drivers are responsible for taking customers and guests between the dock and mooring field and to serve marina customers and guests by performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to general operation of the docks and assisting boaters. The Launch Driver must work to maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the harbor and marina facilities. Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced sailor eager to turn their love for the water and boting into a fulfilling career in rigging. You should be available to work Monday through Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm), and Saturdays from 8:00am – 12:00pm during hauling and launching seasons (generally about 10-12 Saturdays, varies year to year). Work flow may also permit additional overtime opportunities. While preferred, you do not need to have formal rigging experience.
If rigging work is unavailable in the offseason, you will assist in other departments in the yard such as painting, boat moving, detailing etc.
Qualifications:
• Boat handling/towing ability, sailing experience
• Knowledge to properly inspect rigging, furling and steering systems for safety and functionality
• Experience with wire swaging equipment and splicing
• Familiarity with rig parts such as spreaders, shrouds, furlers, turnbuckles, mast head gear, etc
• Working knowledge of 12 volt systems
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and move around a dock, a ladder, or in a tight space
• Certification to operate forklift, crane and/or travelift a plus
• Ability to shift between multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Bring boats in/out from moorings and slips
• Bend on and unbend sails. Install and remove canvas
• Bring masts in and out of storage
• Assist stepping and unstepping masts
• Inspect boats for worn or broken equipment
• Keep a clean and organized work area
• Miscellaneous rigging projects such as working aloft, servicing winches, replacing equipment, cleaning gear, etc.
• Provide additional support to the rigging foreman and/or the yard manager as requested
• Work with heavy equipment, crane, travelift, fork truck, etc.

We are looking for people to bottom paint, wax, clean, remove shrink wrap from boats, and perform other boat yard tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Exterior boat washing (hulls, decks, and topsides)
- Waxing and polishing fiberglass and metal surfaces
- Interior detailing
-Cleaning and repainting of bottoms.
- Assist with repairs and maintenance on boats
- Perform general yard work
